Research

My PhD uses MRI to study the glymphatic system, the brain's fluid-driven waste clearance, and how it changes after ischaemic stroke.

Having worked as a radiographer, I bring hands-on scanner experience to imaging research, alongside data analysis and clinical data governance.

Areas of work

  1. Brain clearance after stroke. MRI markers of how cerebrospinal fluid moves through the brain, and what this means for recovery.
  2. Advanced functional MRI. Analysis of brain activity and fluid dynamics in clinical imaging data.
  3. Bone imaging radiomics. Quantitative bone imaging with Austin Health.
